Planning blog

Today my partner and I will be doing our planning blog. We also have another blog due but we're going to do both today so we won't have to worry about it later.

Locaton- The location is going to be at the park. We chose this because it's the easiest location to meet up at and shoot the video. Also the park is a public area so we dont have to ask permission to shoot our video. the park can also fit into the music video because it's just an open area. We might have different ideas for the location but this is the location for now.

Health and Safety-  since it's cold outside, we most likely going to wear jackets because Floridians can handle a hurricane but not the cold. We're going to get to the park car. There's probably going to be people at the park so safety shouldn't be a worry. The weather is the only thing against us right now. It's so cold right now that I could piss icicles. In conclusion, jackets are a necessity for this video.

Props- props won't be needed in the video because rap videos dont really have props. Rap videos are usually shot raw and uncut. The thing that makes the rap video is the emotion and movement of the actor or rapper.

Costumes- are costumes will be normal but clean cloths. Most rappers dress casually and comfortably in their videos because rappers rap about thier everyday lifestyle. As a result they dress how they usually dress everyday or when they want to dress casual. We won't be matching because thats weird. The only thing we're going to be wearing that's the same are jackets.

Scedual-  whenever we're ready to film our video we'll call and meet at the park.

Music video blog

Aice media just cant give me a break. After rushing to do my last minute yet awesome commercial, I get a blog assignment on my music video project. I'm honestly going to pass this project since I have a partner now. The project is also off campus so we dont have any limits to where we could shoot our music video. All in all, I'm kinda excited for the project.

The song I chose was self control by NBA youngboy. My partner chose micheal jackson but none of can dance for 1 minute so I chose someone more chill. We might have an argument about the song but it's going to be clean.

The genre of the music video is rap. I dont really know what tempo we're going to be moving at. There are alot of close shots, mid shots, and long shots. We might get creative and add tilt to make the video more exciting. The sound has a slow tempo with large bass. I'll edit the video because I just bought a lifetime plan on filmora and I'm not going to waste it. Rap videos dont really have transitions. They just have jump cuts  but I could add at least one.

Individual editing blog

Well my blog might be short  due to the shortage of computer and the amount of people we have in class. Luckily  for me, I was the first one to get a laptop. As the teacher said, I logged on to pinnacle to edit my footage. I had 17 videos to cut and transition from. There was lots of tools to edit and make my footage look like a real commercial. On the contrast, the editing program logged me out several times and caused me to act out of character. We also didnt have enough time to edit everything so the teacher had to give us extra time. In conclusion the editing program was pretty good but had its flaws.

Filming blog

After being bedridden for a week by the flu, my luck seemed to be running out. I come back to school and there's 3 tests, 2 projects, and loads of worksheets. At this point, I was qlmost ready to drop out and live in a trailer home with 4 kids and an ugly oger I would call a wife. However, my mother motivated me to do my best because there would be greater things that will lay ahead. So the first project that I did was film my commercial for my Aice media class. Since I could use the school as my film ground, I'd go to a park to film. My mom filmed me playing basketball. Next, my friend, Keith helped me with pass the ball with each other.  Next I took a couple scenes using a training rope. Basically, that's all the footage I recorded.
